Ascension Church in Hohne

A sign warns of danger upon entry, and that's certainly true. When these giant meaty mountains take their break comfortably in the shade, however, they look like cozy, gigantic cuddly toys. From the safety of the fence, I thoroughly enjoyed this completely unexpected sight!

In bad weather you can stand under the canopy, in good weather you can unpack your picnic basket on the table.

If you cross the place you will be surprised by the very large and imposing church! Also family Adebar visited in regularity, the church Storchenhorst. What you do not suspect - the church is a very young church (from 1913!), Because the previous one was destroyed by fire and the following had to be demolished even because of structural defects. At least some originals like u.a. the baptismal font, the pulpit, crypt plates, etc. could be saved! Beautiful church! Little tip: next to the church is a bicycle workshop!
