The route from Weggis to Vitznau has a sidewalk that is also permitted for cyclists. It becomes a bit more problematic in high summer, on weekends and holidays. Then many hikers and walkers are also here on the path. The road is already quite busy, but also depending on the time of day and other factors. Road cyclists have no trouble with it. I moved as much on the road as on the bike path. With a little respect and consideration, it works. For flowing riding, use the road. You just have to decide on the spot. On the bike path, you can stop again and again and enjoy the view 😍.
