The historic old town with its more than 400 preserved and perfectly maintained half-timbered houses should be very touristy, but at least during my visit, I found essentially yawning emptiness. This way, you can at least walk through the alleys in peace and admire the magnificent ensemble on the market square (especially the town hall and the wine house, as well as the church behind them).
