A beautiful path that was expanded a few years ago. Now you can walk from Arthur-Scheunert-Alle down to the Nuthe - always directly along the Rehgraben. There, by the way, a path leads to the left to a hidden Nuthe bridge, and to the left along the Nuthe to the canoe station. Komoot does not know this route, but it is well developed.

The Teufelssee near Potsdam is a so-called dead ice hole. It was created during the last ice age about 20,000 years ago. When melting the huge glaciers, it often happened that broke off glacier tongues. These were then overlaid by washed-out sand and gravel. Often millennia passed, until these dead ice blocks were melted off with gradual warming. The forming dead ice hole lies here over a water-impermeable, clayey underground. So it could fill with melt water. A small, with 7 meters quite deep waters remained behind, which is even deeper than the larger Havel lakes.
