The Ingolstadt–Riedenburg railway line was a branch line in Bavaria. It connected the Danube town of Ingolstadt in Upper Bavaria with the town of Riedenburg on the Altmühl, which belonged to Upper Palatinate until 1972 (since the administrative district of Lower Bavaria). The route is now known as the Schambach Valley Railway. The station building was at KM 12.83 and is now privately owned. (Source: Wikipedia.de)
