The sculpture "Sonnentor" by Roger Roitenstern, also known as the football pretzel, was modeled by Doina Erdei (based on an idea and sketch by Roger Roitenstern). The inspiration came from a pretzel from the Klinsmann bakery, where Jürgen Klinsmann also comes from. It was baked by his brother. The bronze sculpture was unveiled on the day of the first World Cup match in 2006. A smaller replica, featuring pretzel caricatures by Roger Roitenstern, will be exhibited in 2011 in the Baden-Württemberg State Representation.
