As of June 2026 the road has been gravelled over between Cross Lane and Mortimer Road, a no-go for road bikes :(

Open and busy when I passed middle of a Friday afternoon in May 2026. They have a pilgrim stamp, and apart from the cafe also a well-stocked (if ££) shop, you could get the makings of a meal or 2 here instead of/as well as enjoying either a snack (as I did) or a full meal.

Coffee and sandwich van located in Lambs Farm business park. Open 7am-3pm, Monday - Friday. Delicious freshly made sandwiches (with freshly grilled bacon) and hot drinks. Smaller choice of pastries, crisps, chocolate bars and cold drinks. Several benches and tables to sit and eat.

Lovely spot for a coffee, lunch or snack. Bacon butties are out of this world good as are the pork pies.
