Peaceful stretch of path alongside Hogtrough Wood. Part of a new cycling path through North Baddesley and Valley Park.

Best going west to east as the climb is longer. It's not a particularly nice descent as the surface isn't great but it's as close as you'll get to a proper hill around Southampton that isn't in the South Downs

A lovely off road bridleway section but the paths can be very muddy or else churned up and set hard....should smooth out over the summer but be prepared to walk for some sections unless you are on a mountain bike. Avoid after wet weather as I suspect it is impassable if you are not on a horse! Well worth it though

This is a nice lane but a bit narrow so it might be best to avoid it during the rush hour
