Great opportunity for a break and to enjoy the view. There is no possibility for a shelter or similar here, the hut is locked and serves the Tirol mountain rescue. So only to be used for a very nice break. Please also take all your rubbish with you.

The way from Zierleseck to the summit was very good, the way back towards Schattwald was strenuous as there was a lot of scree 😢

A nice paved path with a few meters of elevation gain, but the view is very good.

It's wonderful when you emerge from the forest and the magnificent panorama unfolds before you. By early April 2025, the area was already completely snow-free.
