Very nice hut with delicious home-made cakes. The perfect starting point for long mountain hikes. Picturesquely located in the Hohe Tauern National Park.

The journey to the hiking car park is a bit difficult, but once you arrive at the very nice car park it's worth it! The hike to the Lienzer Hut is very relaxed on well-developed, wide paths (suitable for strollers and wheelchairs). Next to the main path there is a nature trail which is highly recommended (sturdy shoes and surefootedness recommended)!!! The Lienzer Hut is a perfect starting point for extensive mountain hikes and is rewarded with regional delicacies!
