This church was not dedicated to one of the many people revered as saints, but to the archangel MICHAEL. The name (from the Hebrew language) means "Who is like God?" He is often depicted - in paintings or as a statue - with a flaming sword, occasionally also a lance. Michael is - together with Raphael and Gabriel, and occasionally Uriel is also included - one of the three or four archangels who (according to human belief) occupy the highest rank in the heavenly hierarchy of angelic beings. Their common feast day in the calendar of saints is September 29th.

Just an easy flat scenic route.

Went in on a cycle tour at the end of a long day - no pasta on the menu, no pump to check tyre pressures, no oil can to lube the chain, no help refilling water bottles. It's a bike themed cafe with high prices, but that's all.

One of the best cycling cafes in Devon for riding out onto Dartmoor, Cafe 3 Sixty has secure indoor bike parking and a really extensive tasty menu. Coffee and cake or something more substantial, their friendly staff are quick and efficient so you'll be fuelled up in no time. A must visit for cyclists passing through Bovey Tracey! https://www.cafe3sixty.co.uk/

Cosy Tea garden in the beautiful village of Teigngrace, snuggled between the Stover Canal and the Teigngrace Railway. Access is via the Stoverway path - no car parking so you need to walk or cycle. Some indoor seating and lots of outdoor seating which is the best way to enjoy the delights of cakes, savouries, tea and coffee
