The Schmiedhäusl holiday farm in Bruck an der Großglocknerstraße offers two authentic alpine chalets from 1606 - a great starting point for exploring the beauty of the Hohe Tauern National Park region. But it's not just the historic atmosphere and comfortable accommodation that attract bikers: the impressive Tauern cycle path (270 kilometers long) runs right past the farm and offers you challenging sections of the route. For those looking for adventure away from cycling, the Moosalm awaits as a family-friendly hiking destination or starting point for the peaks of the Hundstein. The Three Brothers offer challenges for experienced mountaineers. And after a fulfilling day in the mountains, the nearby Zeller See, just five kilometers away, invites you to take a refreshing swim. The stay is rounded off by the traditional "Bauernstube" in the Schmiedhäusl and the cozy "Zirbenstube" in the Kramerl. Both chalets offer spacious gardens with a mountain panorama - an ideal retreat after a day full of action.
