A house with almost 700 years of history, passionate hosts, a vision for the essential, and a team that masters the culinary craft. These elements converge in Leogang in the Salzburg region and are the secret of this magical place. On the one hand, much seems to stand still here, allowing you to find time again – to consciously breathe in and out. On the other hand, the house, designed by siblings Barbara Kottke and Hans-Jörg Unterrainer, is incredibly elegant, with meticulous attention to detail and a delicate touch. A listed Gothic Samerstall barn, a centuries-old wine cellar whose treasures are brought to life almost daily in the restaurant, one of the most beautiful and romantic gardens in the countryside with a magnificent view of the Leogang Steinberge mountains, a wood-paneled wedding hall, rustic, historic parlors, and even stylish, individually designed themed rooms and suites, each with its own story – all this can be experienced and enjoyed here.

A valuable feature of the Anna Chapel is its one-piece mountain altar. According to local information, this is one of three mountain altars in Europe - alongside the two winged altars in Annaberg (Saxony) and Gossensaß (South Tyrol). The lower part shows the mining village of Hütten with a tunnel entrance from which a miner is pushing a cart. Above it are several mining saints, including St. Barbara with the chalice. Saint Florian is also depicted, leaning on a red-white-red striped flag with his left hand and pouring water with his right hand on a partially burning miners' hut to put out the fire.
