The South Downs Way goes right through the farm and the café & campsite are tucked behind the farm. The café uses locally sourced ingredients. The campsite is quiet and unspoiled and the facilities are super-clean and thoughtfully set out - perfect for cyclists and walkers. I wholeheartedly recommend it! Check the website for café opening hours and to book camping holdenfarm.co.uk

Part of NCN route 2, this is a pleasant traffic-free section of cycling through Royal Victoria Country Park. It features a historic chapel perched on the shores of Southampton Water. The Chapel was once at the heart of the Royal Victoria Military Hospital. The hospital building was demolished in 1966 and now only the Chapel remains. There's a kiosk in the chapel selling a range of hot and cold drinks, snacks and ice creams.
