In summer you can dine on the terrace. Zwiebelrostbraten is my personal favorite on the menu.

The Hegerberg is a peak in the Vienna Woods in the municipal areas of Stössing and Kasten near Böheimkirchen. There are two driveways: from Michelbach and from Hendelgraben near Stössing. The "Johann-Enzinger-Haus" refuge below the summit has been in existence since 1930. There is a disused tow lift on the summit meadow. The view is beautiful. From the refuge we see: Reisalpe, Hochstaff and Hinteralpe, Hocheck and Unterberg, at times also Schneeberg, Rax and Ötscher. Schöpfl, Gföhlberg, and the Buchberg-Warte can be seen from the meadow near the refuge. The pass can be easily connected to Stollberg.
