Unfortunately you can't see much of the castle from the road. The best views are from further away, as you enter the village, where the top of the keep rises above the trees.

A great resting spot on the village green at Castle Hedingham. There’s also a bench under the tree offering some shade.

A pleasant safe environment for family fun and relaxation. Beautiful lakeside picnic spots and a children’s sand play area, together with the opportunity for Water ski lessons and Banana rides for the more adventurous! Gosfield Lake Resort provides a wonderful opportunity for the traditional back to basics family day out.

Runway still intact from RAF Gosfield. It now has a tarmac road running through the middle of it, I believe this was used by WhatCar for testing. Only accessible from this small track.

A 900-year-old Norman keep, beautifully maintained. It costs to visit the castle (£8.50 for adults), but a quick glance from the comfort of your saddle won't go amiss!
