Tips from the Community

Barbara & Andreas 🕊️
August 17, 2026, St Nicolas' Church, Pevensey

A church with a long history. It was built between 1200 and 1216. There is a small, interesting exhibition with display boards about the history of the church and the place. In the front left area are the ropes for the manually played carillon, just like in the church in Rye.

Slight uphill on the way back to the campsite, if you’re looking for accessibility. No gates or anything tho.

Seems to be angling here, but you’d need to sort permissions.
