An inspiring place to pause with good coffee or cocoa. A location with loving service in the café or also in the outdoor area. A small roastery is attached and can also be visited upon request. Absolute must for coffee and cocoa connoisseurs. The owner worked for many years in Latin America and has personal connections with the local producers.

After Bremen, the route becomes significantly more beautiful. Even if the harbor can certainly be interesting.

A little info from the internet: History: The cycle paths use former routes of the Minden district railways, whose passenger service was discontinued in the 1960s/70s.

Great bike path on the old railway line between Harrienstedt and Uchte. It's a leisurely 24km ride. Only a few intersections slow you down. The asphalt is excellent!

The locomotive shed is now largely complete. In the extension, the old machine tools, driven by a transmission, from the former locomotive shed in Hoya, which served as a model, have also been rebuilt. Unfortunately, it was not possible to complete the rail connection by the 60th anniversary of the museum railway in 2026. It is expected to be completed in the spring of 2027.

Half-timbered houses as far as the eye can see. This picturesque half-timbered town was first mentioned in a document in 1025. Today, the town has a population of around 33,000 and was an important fortress town on the Weser River crossing in the Middle Ages. Lovingly restored half-timbered buildings, castle farms such as the Posthof (library) or the Fresenhof (museum), and farmer's houses and patrician houses bear witness to Nienburg's history. The best way to explore Nienburg's old town is with a walk along the "Nienburg Bear Trail."
