Fairhaven Woodland and Water Garden consists of 130 acres (52 ha) of ancient woodland with over 3.5 miles (5.6 km) of paths. It has a tearoom, gift shop, bird hides, children's nature trail and plant sales area. In the spring you can see the UK's finest collection of Candelabra Primulas as well as bluebells, camellia's and wood anemones. In summer there are Hydrangeas, Philadelphus and many wild flowers. Migrant birds and other wildlife come to the garden in the autumn, and there are many varieties of fungi and toadstools. In the winter you might be able to spot kingfishers, deer and otters.
