Cool off briefly at the natural bathing area at the Wanderup quarry lake before moving on. The quarry lake is located north of Wanderup. Gravel used to be mined here, but it has now become a beautiful natural bathing area. There is a natural lawn for sunbathing, but there is also a small sandy beach where you can dig. You can splash and dig on the volleyball court. The water is perfect for swimming, or you can take a SUP board with you and try stand-up paddling. The quarry lake is unguarded.
