Beautiful mix of coastal walk and forest oh and a big hill if you fancy it with great views. The town of Arndale is worth a stroll around beautiful clean with a great chippy.

Lovely stretch of the River Lune where you can walk along either bank.

On the way down, south, from Coum Hill is another trig point, this one belonging to Crag Hill. It is just behind the wall that should be on your right. All the way to here, the path has been pretty good, a bit boggy in places, but okay.
