Tanahorn Peak

Highlight • Summit

Outstanding peakpoint with an amazing view over the Barentsea. Much better place than the celebrated „Nordcap“. The Tour along the wild coastline afterwards was amazing as well. You can watch white-tailed Sea Eagles and Whales with a Field Glass.

They probably don't run on Sundays, or the bike rack was occupied. The bus driver was pleased with the wobbly bike rack. It was his first time using it. Men's bikes can be mounted on the crossbar; how they mount women's bikes is a mystery to me. There's room for three bikes.

Off the road, this vantage point is above the sea. From the road a narrow path leads to this rock, marked with stones and poles. It's easy to get lost here in fog.
