With a bit of luck, you might be able to spot whales here.

Indeed a very nice fjord on the way to/from the beach. Met a friendly local on the way back to the pier and we had a nice informative chat. Be prepared for a picnic if the café is closed.

The immensely scenic fishing village of Sørvågen is ideally situated for adventures on Moskenesøya. There are great places to eat and drink, an attractive waterfall to discover and even a telecommunication museum. The hiking in the surroundings mountains is magical.

This is a gorgeous little fjord on the way to Bunes beachm often cited as one of Norway's most beautiful beaches. The fjord is hemmed in by Pantaliatinden to the east and Hatinden to the west.

A supremely beautiful beach, Bunes can be conbined with Helvetestinden above to make for an astonishing run. It's not easy to get to, requiring a ferry to Vindstad, but the effort is more than worth it.

Few sights rival the views from the apex of Helvetestinden's ridge. Below, is Bunes Beach which, if you haven't run to already, makes for a superb objective in its own right. There's a bit of scrambling on the ridge – all adding to the fun.

The Sherpas have built a total of 2,000 stone steps up the mountainside. While the steps make the route more sustainable and safer than before, good footwear is required, so be prepared and careful.
