Nature reserve De Zig is located in and along the Lossing. From the birdwatching hut you can get to know the bird population of De Zig both in winter and in summer. In November 1993, Limburgs Landschap vzw bought its first land here. At that time, poplar plantations characterized the landscape. The dream was daring: to restore a pond complex as scientist Van Beneden had described it in the first half of the 20th century. Source and more information: https://limburgs-landschap.be/de-zig/

An older part of the church dates back to the 13th century and was built in the Romanesque style. In the 14th and 15th centuries, it was continually raised or expanded, mostly with marlstone. The last of several tower elevations took place in 1875, and a restoration took place in 1973 and 1974. It was consecrated after Saint Lambert.
