I took Via Zuccarello wrong, but the paths stopped in the olive trees. Obliged to go back to Villa di Scoglio (again I leave the asphalted paths (red square), which stop in the woods for nothing, so with Komoot I went up 100m into the woods to reach the road, thanks Komoot. Next to Casereggio private road 🤷🏼♂️ 🤫 Then go back around the ring following the 3 red balls at the crossroads for Monte Ramecetto/Salita Monte Bello and the path to Costa di Soglio.

The Portofino Kulm hotel and the small Kursaal building nearby were conceived and built in the mid-1800s. The location is magnificent because it straddles the Gulf of Tigullio and the Gulf of Paradiso, allowing the view to sweep across the Apuan Alps. The hotel has an Art Nouveau style and was renovated for the last time in the last decade of the 20th century. It has passed through various managements and is currently closed and in a state of serious abandonment. This is a place where artists, poets, writers and even emperors and royal families have stayed and which has been a source of inspiration and health. The structure is immersed in the Portofino Park, a protected area where the village of San Fruttuoso and, on the other side of the mountain, Cervara are already located.
