Tucked away in a niche just above the path, this small bench stands in the shade and is dedicated to a deceased mountaineer/hiker. A wonderfully peaceful spot for a break with a great view of the surrounding area.

In winter, ski tourers and snowshoe hikers like to come here. The hut is not open during the winter months and will reopen from May 24th, 2025 to October 26th, 2025.

Awesome hike! Arrived from the Kaiserau (Brunntal lift) from about 1h30' via the "Gustlsteig" in the direction of Wagenbänkalm and further Lahngang and at the summit cross, there is a great view of the upper Ennstal.Grimming,Dachstein etc. L.G.JURENIA ANDY
