A very beautiful fountain rich in history. Having become the symbol of Pazzano, it is one of the still intact testimonies of the economic splendor that the entire Stilaro valley enjoyed in the past. It was in fact built to quench the thirst of miners returning from work. The ideal place to take a short break and drink some very fresh water

The Roccella seafront, extending for almost 4 km, is one of the jewels of the Locria Ionian coast. Starting from the Piazzetta delle Colonne and heading towards the port, you can observe various works of art. Dominating from above, the Pizzofalcone tower and the Carafa Castle stand out on the cliff.

Partly next to the Lungomare, partly through the forest, then right along the beach - but always a real bike path only. An absolute relaxation.

After a beautiful ride in Stilo, we returned to the coast following the itinerary suggested by Komoot and found ourselves on a wonderful road. In the first section, you cross all kinds of omelettes, on an asphalted road only traveled by local farmers. Then the bottom becomes more bumpy, until it turns into a dirt road (absolutely passable with gravel or cycle touring bikes). More or less halfway, when you turn left to go back along the Jonica state road, we came across a beautiful lake, surrounded by reeds. To better identify it, I'll talk about it in another highlight. Highly recommended segment to avoid the main road and to enjoy a splendid landscape.

Beautiful Byzantine church, with frescoes and Greek inscriptions. The four internal columns, one different from the other, are particular. Mention also for the kiosk outside the church and its excellent Calabrian sandwiches!

It is counted among the most beautiful villages in Italy and certainly has its characteristics. To get to the village you have to face a climb of five kilometers, but it is worth it. The alleys of the historic center and the signs of the Byzantine culture that marked the history of this country are very beautiful.
