Starting early, it is very likely that you will arrive at this enchanted place around noon or one o'clock, so this area is highly recommended for a break, obviously without encroaching on private spaces. There are places to sit, streams, fountains... and a bear on guard! Furthermore, you reach the highest point of the stage here.

In this pleasantly shaded place, the local AIB has set up some huts as a shelter and operational base. The place invites a stop, also because an excellent job of cleaning and equipping has been done. a tip: to respect the place (but the tip is valid everywhere!) you are warmly invited NOT TO LITTER! There is nothing more annoying than finding, during your hike, scraps of paper or other things left by ill-mannered hikers!

When you arrive at this little church, you can relax for a moment, partly because the climb is almost entirely behind us, and partly, and above all, to savor the sense of peace that the place inspires and admire the splendid panorama. There is no water here and the place is quite sunny, but by continuing the climb, you will find shade and fountains.

This place is truly beautiful and easy to reach. My advice is to visit it as a main destination for short trips or as a stopover on a longer journey.

Beautiful descent passing by this suggestive refuge (not always open) on the side towards Colico

In dry weather, this is a wonderful opportunity for a break above Dervio before descending the final meters. The view hardly needs any more comment – it's simply beautiful.
