Nestled in the woods, it's a pleasure to see how well-kept it is...

Votive cross placed a little upstream from the abbey of Vertemate. Characteristic is the cockerel's comb that surmounts it.

Easy and beautiful circular tour. You leave the car near the Asnago Cemetery in Cermenate and immediately take the cart track to the Lura Park. The journey is almost always flat on country roads. Following the trail and directions you first arrive at Vertemate where you will see the beautiful wash house and continuing in about an hour you arrive at the Vertemate abbey (not open to visitors) then go down the beautiful recently renovated road to Cascina Bernardelli. From there you take the road to Cantu' Asnago. You pass by Cascina Volpe and then arrive in the town near the train station. From there you go back towards the starting point. I deviated from the standard route in the final stretch but I advise against it. Follow the asphalt road in the last stretch (from Cantu' Asnago to the starting cemetery). A route for everyone to do in my opinion in winter or late autumn. Very nice
