The Biergarten looked inviting. Unfortunately, it was not open for hikers when we wanted to stop there on a sunny Saturday afternoon in August. Probably because a concert was scheduled for the evening. So, Moosheide is not a reliable place to stop for refreshments during a long hike. But certainly nice for a convivial evening with live music.

The Richterbusch reservoir is a small but clean body of water, north of Zwönitz. The small lake has a size of 1.5 hectares and is lined with trees. The triangular reservoir has a small island on the north side. The bank in the north is overgrown with overhanging trees. The south bank has a nice open fishing spot with parking. https://www.fisch-hitparade.de/gewaesser/stau-richterbusch/

Beautifully designed information point on the history of the Zwönitz-Schienberg railway line. The old railway embankment is perfect for hiking or cycling (road bikes not suitable).
