One of the oldest churches in Dithmarschen is in Tellingstedt. Since the 12th century stands the Romanesque stone church in the middle of the village. The interior, which is typical for this area - quite gloomy, lots of wood, slightly musty smell - conveys peace and stability. A nice place to stay.
