At the foot of Mols Bjerge, where the hills meet the sea, lies Sletterhage Fyr – an active lighthouse surrounded by magnificent nature and a coast rich in stories. The lighthouse marks the entrance to Aarhus and offers both sea views and insights into the region's geology and wildlife. From the top of the 16-meter-high lighthouse, there is a panoramic view of the Kattegat, Tunø, Samsø, and the Bay of Aarhus. In the lighthouse keeper's residence, you can visit an exhibition about the region's maritime history, nature, and the many ships that pass by daily. Sletterhage is an ideal starting point for hikes in the unique coastal landscape. There are clear traces of the Ice Age, and the beach is known for its many interesting rocks and fossils. You can hike along paths by the coast to the nearby German Tower or further into the Mols Mountains. The area is particularly popular with birdwatchers, especially during migration season. It is also one of the few places where you can experience international shipping traffic up close – right from the beach. https://www.visitaarhus.de/region-aarhus/reiseplanung/sletterhage-fyr-auf-djursland-gdk785519

There are a lot of new buildings here in Århus Øje, the new old harbor. A lot of new apartments and the Lighthouse, a skyscraper with an observation deck.
