The Chiesa di Sant’Agnese e San Silvestro is the most important parish church in Pineto. The foundation stone was laid in 1926 according to a design by Arturo De Falco, and the church was opened in 1935. The brick facade combines Romanesque and Gothic elements, with the columned portico and the striking bell tower being particularly noteworthy. Unfortunately, the church was closed during our visit, so we could only admire it from the outside. Nevertheless, it is a beautiful and interesting landmark of Pineto.

Der Torre del Cerrano ist ein beeindruckender Küstenturm aus dem 16. Jahrhundert und eines der Wahrzeichen zwischen Pineto und Silvi Marina. Er wurde zum Schutz der Küste vor Piraten errichtet und steht heute mitten im geschützten Parco del Cerrano. Direkt vor der Küste befinden sich zudem die Überreste eines antiken römischen Hafens. Ein wunderschöner historischer Ort direkt am Meer und ein besonderes Highlight unserer Wanderung. Heute beherbergt der historische Torre del Cerrano ein kleines Museo del Mare und Informationsbereiche zur geschützten Meereslandschaft.

Der Bahnhof Pineto-Atri ist der zentrale Bahnhof von Pineto an der Adriaküste und liegt direkt an der Bahnstrecke entlang des Meeres. Von hier bestehen regionale Zugverbindungen entlang der Küste, unter anderem Richtung Pescara und Teramo. Die Station verfügt über drei Bahnsteiggleise und ist ein praktischer Ausgangspunkt, um Pineto und die Umgebung ohne Auto zu erkunden.
