The Brunnen harbor is picturesquely situated on Lake Lucerne, offering an impressive backdrop with Mount Rigi, the Mythen mountains, and the sparkling water. Boats depart from here in all directions, and the beautiful lakeside promenade invites you to stroll. It's an ideal spot for breaks, photos, and relaxing moments by the lake.

On such a glorious day, the saying "The early bird catches the worm!" is even more true. Start early in the morning at Seewen train station. The start of the route is a bit tricky at the moment due to the many construction sites and new buildings. Once you've found it, make sure you train your calves and thighs, as the climb is tough, often with gradients of 12 to 15%. But the reward is overwhelming. See my photos.
