the Zevio town hall was created from a villa which in turn was created from a castle. it is particularly scenic because it is completely surrounded by a moat full of water in which turtles swim, which someone must have thrown in there and now they survive quite well

Just a clarification: the walls are medieval and date back to the period of the Scaligera lordship around the thirteenth century. At the end of the path highlighted in the photo, following it towards Borgo Venezia, you will find a small door that passes through the walls. The path starts uphill again, always running alongside the walls in the first section and is quite challenging.
