The Untertorturm was built in the mid-14th century and is part of the medieval town fortifications of Bad Camberg. The Untertor itself and the massive barbican system, which secured access to the town, have not survived. The half-timbered houses in Kirchgasse, leaning against the tower and the town wall, were built in the mid-18th century. The tower probably began to tilt towards the end of its construction period in the late 14th century. Today, it has a tilt of about 1.40 meters. From here, you should not only enjoy the impressive view and scenery of Limburg, but also decide to cross the old bridge to get a closer look at Limburg's fantastic old town and the Domberg. A wonderful city!

Not much remains of the old city fortifications. Of the original 13 towers, only two remain: the Lower Gate Tower and the Upper Gate Tower.

Imagination and craftsmanship in the idyllic Weiltal valley... very beautiful! The lizard-shaped wall coverings and the rose-covered half-timbered house are also eye-catchers. https://www.neumannundmuellerarts.de/ https://www.instagram.com/neumannundmuellerarts/
