Two old tunnels: one for bats, the other for us :) It's fun to drive through and in summer it's also a nice way to cool off. Right in front of the tunnel there's a nice little viaduct that's no longer in use.

Border crossing Germany/Belgium. There is a beautiful cycle path (rather an old train track with tunnels). From Bleialf you cycle xo to the Venn bahn.

Great location, definitely worth a visit. If you look closely at the stone you can still see parts of the writing that was once there. Unfortunately the writing is almost illegible due to shrapnel etc.

Such an interesting piece of history! It's fascinating to learn about these tunnels, even the one closed for bats. I like to write essays on this topic, https://writinguniverse.com/free-essay-examples/ . The transformation of old railway routes into cycle paths is a wonderful way to preserve their legacy while making them accessible to the public.
