San Clemente is a picturesque Alpine church, easily reached with a short but steep walk from the center of Vezza d'Oglio. The picnic area offers a relaxing break, while the path behind the church leads to a pleasant walk in the woods. In August, it is animated by the traditional Festa degli Alpini.

The climb is up to 19%. And there are descents in between that make up for the meters you've covered. Good asphalt, but partly covered in moss and dirt. Unfortunately, there are a few grates that narrow tires that are almost parallel to the direction of travel fit into. Not recommended! Would have preferred to stay on the road! It was very quiet despite it being a Saturday.

If you want to stop in Grosio, this park is a good base. Right in the square of the main church, a few steps from a famous ice cream shop (Valentino), you can stay in the shade of the trees or in a large lawn, leaving your bike at the edge of the park and relaxing before resuming your pedaling.
