Located along the descent leading to the sanctuary of Foresto, this stone with cruciform engravings represents a puzzle: some claim it is of Celtic origin, others say more simply that it was a "terminus", i.e., a boundary stone, or a stone that marked a property limit. In any case, it is a suggestive, almost magical place...

The most evocative point of the itinerary, reached after a beautiful single-track that, in case of recent rain, can become a swamp! Area equipped with benches, explanatory panels, and even a providential water fountain! Shortly after, you will find the paved road Saliceto-Montezemolo

Definitely the most strenuous section of the entire route! In addition to the steep gradients, the rough surface certainly doesn't help with the climb, and depending on the season, the brambles also make the ascent difficult... however, the reward after the tough climb is the beautiful flowing section towards the sanctuary of Foresto! Just be careful not to go too fast because, in addition to hikers, this road is also frequented by horse riders!
