The Chiesa di Sant’Agostino in Faenza has a striking facade with double pilasters on the sides, a large central window and a tympanum with slight references to Roman obelisks. On the ground floor there is a narrow portico. The interior is light and consists of a single nave with chapels on either side, surrounded by marble balustrades. The ceiling is vaulted and lit by windows above the chapels1. The church has a rich history of renovation and rebuilding, with important contributions from architects such as Raffaele Campidori and Giovanni Battista Boschi. The structure is mainly in masonry, with a double-pitched roof. The church has a semi-circular apse and an 18th-century wooden pulpit, decorated with inlaid panels of wood, ivory and metal

The church of San Bartolomeo in Faenza is one of the oldest churches in the city, dating back to the early 13th century. The building still preserves parts of the original structure. After the First World War, the church was restored and dedicated to the Fallen of All Wars. The church is an important example of the almost standardized Romanesque architecture of the 12th and 13th centuries. The exact date of foundation, 1209, is known thanks to an ancient inscription. The restorations after the war led to a major renovation of the facade and other parts, recognizable by the lighter color and smoother surface of the bricks. Today, the building, surrounded by some beautiful trees, is a Temple to the Fallen of All Wars.

The Colonia di Castel Raniero and its park have an unparalleled environmental and architectural value: the Art Nouveau building stands in fact in the middle of an area of enormous landscape value. Until the 1980s it was used for the purposes for which it was built in 1930, when work was completed on what the Municipality of Faenza wanted as a place dedicated to childhood and war orphans. The building looks like a large stately villa in exposed brick and expresses a late and simplified Art Nouveau style. The suggestive columned tower represents the point of reference of the entire area and characterizes the skyline of Castel Raniero together with the famous pine trees located on the ridge.
