Not much of a swimming place, but we did it anyway. 😎 OK, OK... We dipped in, and enjoyed the cold water for a few minutes. There simply isn't enough water for any serious swimming here. On a positive side: drinking water, nice rest places made of wood, shadows, and a meadow where it's even possible to sleep in a tent overnight.

Good shelter in a thunderstorm to stay dry and you could also grill a sausage.

Here you will find a large selection of very fine products, from jams to cooking oils and pastries to handmade decorations. If you love the regional cuisine and its ingredients, then you have to stop at the farmer's shop. The friendliness of the operators is also worth mentioning! A beautiful, hidden spot in Dobersberg, idyllically situated on the banks of the Thaya! I found it by accident. It seems as if time has stood still here. No idea whether locals still meet here to swim, this destination is definitely suitable for a short detour to the banks of the Thaya. And with its seating, it's a nice place to take a rest in the shade!
