The forest and hiking trail from the start of the "Holzlager" bend on the K22 (between Steeg and Breitscheid) towards Perscheid is easily walkable and suitable for cycling (see photos at the small chapel/wayside shrine). There may be signs of wild boar damage depending on the season. Bicycles with wider tires are recommended. This section is not suitable for racing bikes.
