A nice ride even on a gravel bike; the road is very dusty and sandy due to heavy vehicles working at altitude, but still easy to ride. The last 2 km or so before the lake have 3-4 killer sections due to the combination of steepness and rocks. Congratulations to anyone who manages to stay on the bike (without a motor); that wasn't my case.

A suspension bike is required because the climb to the lake has a challenging surface.

Excellent restaurant with very fair prices, excellent food quality, and friendly staff. I recommend wearing appropriate footwear because the trail features rocks that can be slippery, especially on wet ground.

For breathtaking views, consider visiting Barbustel Refuge at Lac Blanc, which offers panoramic vistas of Mont Avic, Monte Rosa, the Matterhorn, and the Dent d'Hérens. Another excellent spot is Fenêtre de Champorcher, located at 2,827 meters, providing clear views of Gran Paradiso.
Yes, several attractions are suitable for families. Lake Muffé is a picturesque and tranquil spot, and nearby, the Garden of the Sky and Time offers an engaging experience. The Barbustel Refuge at Lac Blanc is also considered ideal for families, with a beautiful surrounding green area. Additionally, the Fauna Park Chevrère in Champdepraz allows visitors to observe local wildlife in their natural habitat.
The park boasts over 100 km of regularly maintained footpaths catering to all levels. Popular hikes include the Gran Lago and the Lakes of Mont Avic trail, and sections of the Via Alpina.
