The Hegau has an incredibly beautiful landscape, I was totally surprised by the views you can enjoy - but also not entirely without effort

For the living, the adjacent cemetery also has a water tap that not only provides water for grave decorations, but also, if necessary, drinking water for empty bidons.

On the way through Lippertsreute, there are always interesting views of the parish church of Our Lady... ... and it's definitely worth stopping for a moment to visit the church. -- Our Lady The church was built in 1881/1882 in the neo-Gothic style. It is a light-plastered hall building with four slender, pointed-arch windows on each of the long walls and simple sandstone buttresses, which also recur in the low, recessed choir in the east (with a 3/8-length end). To the west, a mighty tower rises above a square floor plan with a two-stage pyramid roof. The flat wooden ceiling in the nave is reminiscent of medieval plank-beam ceilings in character, but not in construction. The choir features a ribbed vault and is illuminated by tricolor windows from the Freiburg workshops of Helmle and Merzweiler, depicting (from left to right) Saints Joachim and Anne, Mary with the Infant Jesus, Christ as King of Glory, and Joseph and Mary. The wooden statues of Saints Barbara, Apollonia, and Catherine from around 1500 are mounted in the choir. To the far left of these is the statue of Saint Wendelin. The altarpieces depict Saint Wendelin on the left and Saint Aloysius on the right. The peasant Madonna with the Infant Jesus from around 1460 is also of extraordinary beauty. Large Baroque Stations of the Cross adorn the walls of the nave. The Gothic Resurrected Christ and two Feuchtmayer angels complete the wreath of valuable figures in the parish church.
