The historic bell tower in Leisel is one of the town's most striking buildings – a charming ensemble of half-timbering, a slate roof, and a small bell tower. Originally serving as the town's assembly and administrative building, it now feels like a living piece of local history. Tip: Be sure to walk around the building – the combination of half-timbering, the round tower, and the decorated slate surfaces looks completely different from various angles.

The Sirona Trail is a 106-kilometre adventure route on the traces of the Celtic-Roman cultural heritage of the Naheland and the Hunsrück. On the trail, 26 stations - cultural monuments, information boards and models - provide information about Celtic and Roman life in the region between the 6th century B.C. and the 5th century AD. The path begins at the Altburg near Bundenbach and ends at the Altburg near Hoppstädten-Weiersbach.[1] The Gallo-Roman goddess of healing Sirona gave the path its name and accompanies visitors as a symbol on the hiking route. The main sights along the way are burial mounds, hilltop castles, a reconstructed Celtic village and museums. Ideal as a rest area ☕🍩🥩🌭
