You cross the mouth of the Zipker Bach (occasionally referred to as the small Zipke/Zipka). This is located on the southern shore of the Grabow, which is the easternmost part of the Darß-Zingster Boddenkette lagoon chain. The stream flows as an outlet of the Zipker See past the village of Zipke and forms the municipal boundary between Groß Kordshagen and Kenz-Küstrow in its estuary area. The bridge here is used for crossing.

The wooden bridge over the Zipker Bach is a well-known highlight and a popular stop on the Boddenlandschaft cycle path in Mecklenburg-Western Pomerania. It is located near the Grabower Bodden (south of the Fischland-Darß-Zingst peninsula, not far from Barth and Karnin). The bridge leads cyclists and hikers directly over the mouth of the small Zipker Bach into the Bodden waters. Near the bridge, there is also a striking, historic-looking water wheel, which is a popular photo opportunity for nature lovers and active holidaymakers in the region.

Up here on the dike, it's great for cycling. Because of the height, you can look over the reed belt directly to the Bodden. Hundreds of swans and other water birds can be seen. The section through the forest is particularly beautiful.

The Baltic Sea Cycle Route runs very idyllically and close to the shore along the Bodden landscape in the section south or "below" the harbor of Dabitz (stage from Barth to Stralsund). After the harbor of Dabitz, heading south, the route profile becomes completely flat again. Apart from two short gravel sections (on the dike and in the forest), the paths are mostly excellently asphalted and offer fantastic views of the Bodden waters.
