The rustic Stickler Hut is located on the border of the Hohe Tauern National Park and is the starting point for various hikes, including the source of the Mur River, the Rotgüldensee Hut, the Tappenkarsee Hut, and the Franz Fischer Hut. There's a playground and a few animals for children. The hut can be reached on foot, by bike, or by shuttle bus (for a fee). Multi-bed rooms and dormitories are available for overnight stays. The Stickler Hut can be reached by bike, on foot or by shuttle bus (fees apply). In addition to the fixed departure times, other trips are possible if required. Alternatively, you can drive your own car to the car park halfway along the route. From there, it is about an hour's walk to the Stickler Hut.

Now that the Punschkuchl team from Tulln has taken over the hut, it is hipper, a bit more alternative and much more loving than other huts. You can go SUP, at 8 there is yoga with a view of the Hafner and the breakfast buffet is absolutely amazing.
