A wonderful example of an Italian city garden is preserved in the Sežana Botanical Garden. The formal and geometrically strictly designed garden that welcomes us next to Villa Mirasasso attracts the most attention of visitors. In the second part, we admire the free and informal garden. In the historical garden, the Interpretation Center of the Karst vegetation and the greenhouse will certainly impress you.

The greenhouse from 1890 is certainly the most important part of the botanical garden in Sežana, which is actually a smaller copy of the Schönnbrunn greenhouse in Vienna.

Opposite the main entrance to the church of St. Martina, there is a church bell tower that was built in 1794. It is about 10 meters away from the church, it is 30 meters high and has four large lines. The top of the bell tower is represented by an eight-sided pyramid. The bell tower is unobstructed and above the entrance we can see the year 1794. There is enough space in the bell tower for three bells. In the church bell tower there is a clock made by Ivan M. Pogačnik from Podnart.
