I'm guessing this is the control house on the dam that creates the Dale Maffitt Reservoir. It has a small parking pull off people were using for fishing the beach at the bottom of the dam.

Talking with some of the locals they said they just put this new kayak launch in last year, and that the lake was up about 4 feet higher last year. I guess the DNR or water works that manages the reservoir doesn't come back to adjust the dock placement like they should. Friendly folks fishing off the dock.
