Easy to cycle along but equally fun to dismount and walk down to Samboโ€™s grave.

Check tide times before riding. Amazing stretch of road with lots of opportunities to see sea birds.

Make sure you check the tide times before you go. as this is a tidal road that floods twice per day.

Photo taken looking inland away from Sunderland Point. There is important information on the internet which explains how fast and where the tide covers the causeway first. The causeway may look clear at the northern end, but when you get to the southern end the tide is in. An about turn is not an option as by now the northern end is under water. Check this and the high and low tide timings.

At Sunderland point make sure of tide times as the road was flooded and we had to take a long detour back

Tomb in memory of a slave who died here after being transported by ship and was buried in unconsecrated ground. From here you have a wonderful view of the sea and the ships sailing in.
